What are your Christmas cutoff times?
All orders made between November 15th and December 2nd will ship by December 13th. All orders made between December 3rd and December 10th will ship by December 17th.
If you are in the USA, please order by December 5th for Christmas delivery. If you are in Canada, please order by December 10th for Christmas delivery. If you are local to Ottawa, please order by December 15th for pickup by December 20th.
*Please factor in holiday shipping delays into your shopping timelines - these are estimates but we unfortunately cannot guarantee Christmas delivery due to potential shipping factors out of our control (but we will do everything we can to get you your orders on time!)
Do your embroidered maps come framed?
All maps come in a complimentary vintage-inspired frame which you can select at check-out. The frames perfectly complement our embroidered vintage map prints so they are ready to gift or display in your home. You can also specify at check-out if you prefer your print un-framed.
Do the frames have a glass cover?
On the listing, we give you the option of adding a glass cover to your frame. Our recommendation is no glass cover as we want you to be able to see and feel the embroidery. A glass cover gives your map a more gallery look - and is available for $2.00 CAD, just make sure to select glass as an add-on option on the listing.
How long does it take for my piece to be made?
Currently, due to map printing delays, most maps take approx. 7-14 business days to hand-stitch while custom maps that need to be mocked-up take 10-20 business days. If you need your item rushed, please contact us prior to ordering or order this listing here (this bumps the processing up to 3-5 business days). If any delays in processing orders occur (i.e. the holiday rush) we will include a notification on our website and post updates on our social media pages.

Do you offer gift-wrapping and packaging?
We here at Sadie & June love to make your order look and feel special! We are happy to provide complimentary gift wrapping, simply request gift wrapping at check-out (you'll see the option at the bottom of your cart). We can also include a note with a custom message for that special someone receiving the gift.
Do you wholesale your maps?

SHIPPING / PICK-UP QUESTIONS
I live in the Ottawa area - do you offer local pick-up?
We are happy to offer local contactless pick-up in Little Italy! At checkout, instead of selecting a shipping method select "Local Pick-Up". We will then send you our address to set up a date and time for pick-up that works best - placing your order on our mailbox for a 100% contactless pick-up. Please only select this option if you can pick up in Ottawa.
Do you ship to the US and Europe?
We are happy to ship worldwide via Canada Post or Chit Chats. If you are having trouble with shipping at check-out, please contact us as we're here to help! Please note that overseas orders may be subject to customs/VAT fees (see below).
What are the estimated shipping times?
***Due to COVID-19 - delivery times may be delayed***
We'll do our best to meet these shipping estimates but cannot guarantee them as actual delivery time will depend on the shipping method you choose. Please remember to add shipping times to the time it takes for us to craft your piece in order to get an accurate estimate of arrival date.
Canada: 1-7 business days
USA: 4-10 business days
Europe/UK: 2-4 weeks
Rest of World: 3-8 weeks
What about customs and import taxes?
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Unfortunately, we are not able to pay these fees (but we're extremely sympathetic and will be frustrated all the same) and can't control delays due to customs.
Do you accept exchanges or returns?
At Sadie & June, we want you to be 100% satisfied with your piece. We gladly accept returns, exchanges, and cancellations for most orders. The return window is 30 days after delivery (non-custom pieces). For order cancellations please reach out within 12 hours of your purchase to cancel.
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of custom or personalized pieces because of their unique nature. However, do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
What are the conditions of a return?
- Items must be returned in their original condition.
- Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.
- Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.
