Let’s start with why it’s called ‘baby’ alpaca - this refers to the very first shear of a newer alpaca, resulting in a supremely soft fleece. As such, it’s a very special fleece, as baby alpaca fibre is harvested just once in the alpaca’s life.

Pokoloko's Peruvian artisans work with small-scale alpaqueros (alpaca farmers) who carry on the tradition they’ve been shown for generations. Alpaca is one of the highest performing technical fibres - making it ideal for active or casual use in colder temperatures. It is breathable, warmer than wool, finer than cashmere, and supremely soft.

Wear it when running errands, walking your pooch, skiing or in the hot tub after a long day outside. One size fits all - alpaca has an exceptional stretch and fit capacity thanks to its long fibres. Put it on and go outside and play!
